Are you getting in your own way as you pursue your greatest hopes and dreams? How is this possible? You must agree to achieve them! You must say yes to opportunities. For all the times life requires you to ‘just say no’, living your dreams requires you to ‘just say yes’. Why would someone say no to something they desperately want? It doesn’t come in the same moonbeam as the thought that it’s impossible to really achieve those dreams.

Some people keep their dreams hidden like old childhood photos. They revisit them wistfully, wondering what happened to the years that have passed, their dreams scattered by the winds. “It was just a dream what you say, it’s not a big deal, it’s not really important.” Consider that a no. Others laugh at the things they used to wish for, calling them childhood pipe dreams. ‘They were never real, were they?’ Count another no.

Have you ever harbored a dream that seemed ridiculous or impossible, but kept coming up in your awareness? Is it conceivable that this impossible dream was really part of your life project? That your refusal to believe it could be done was your rejection of the result you always wanted? The deeply held hopes and dreams that accompanied you in this life are more likely a glimpse of what can be. It is easier to believe in dreams as a child; Rarely will adults break a child’s dreams. They are encouraging instead of discouraging even though you don’t really believe in them.

And then Lo, the time comes when a child approaches adulthood and receives the instructions that kill dreams. ‘Grow; you have to live in the real world. That means the world the person you’re speaking in exists in, the reality of them is now staring you in the face mocking all the things they may have encouraged for most of your life. His world collapses, closing in on you and caging you in a reality you never embraced. What happened?

Adults who have traded their dreams for mediocrity are rarely good role models for those with a higher calling. They can’t ‘see the scope’ for themselves and certainly not for you. The great secret shared for more than 2000 years houses the yes to your destiny. So simple, but the depth cannot be overstated. You cannot receive anything, absolutely nothing, more than you can believe. If you can’t believe it can be, for you it can never be.

Simple they are, those words ‘just believe’. However, they are likely to be the most powerful words you can embrace. There are no limits for those who believe except those that they impose on themselves. These include the people you surround yourself with, the ideas you accept rather than reject, and your willingness to settle for much less than you accepted before other people’s boundaries influenced you.

Yestiny means saying yes to your own destiny by treasuring your values, riding in your own lane in life and choosing when to step out, seeing the opportunity even if it is not clearly marked or recognized by the ‘wise’ around you. Just say yes, and believe!
