To some people, Las Vegas may not seem like a favorable destination for a wedding, but I can assure you that it is. I wanted to have a wedding in Las Vegas and I knew it would be the perfect destination wedding.
I didn’t have the traditional chapel wedding that was held on a Saturday. My wedding was like an excursion of love. We leave the hotel in a long limousine with capacity for 15 people. In 40 minutes we arrived in Henderson, NV where the Lake Las Vegas Resort and the La Contessa Yacht were waiting for us.
My wedding took place on the upper deck of the yacht. The reception took place on the lower level of the yacht. This was a great venue for my wedding. I remember once darkness fell, the resort had the most spectacular fireworks.
Las Vegas is more than a gaming destination; it is a city of fun, excitement and even romance. Going for a walk at night or ordering room service, going to see a show are just some of the things you can do while you’re there.
This is an ideal location for a wedding because it is affordable. It was cheaper for me to have a destination wedding than to get married locally. A local wedding would have cost me between $15,000 and $35,000, and I didn’t want to spend that kind of money on a wedding. I’d rather spend my money on the honeymoon, which I did. The total cost of my wedding was approximately $9800 and that included the wedding package, cake, reception, yacht rental, limousine, wedding dress, groom’s tuxedo rental, shoes, jewelry , the details of the wedding for the guests, 4 hotel nights and airfare for two. in Las Vegas, food for 4 nights and honeymoon for two in Curaçao for 8 nights. Now you see how much more I got for much less.
Having a wedding in Las Vegas is a good idea due to the following factors:
one. affordability – Las Vegas is not an expensive destination. If I were to invite some guests over, they could definitely afford it. Wedding packages start at $75. And the food is tasty and cheap too.
two. It offers different places – Las Vegas has many places where your wedding can take place. You can get married in a chapel, a hotel chapel, in the desert, in a helicopter, on a yacht, on the road or on the beach. Yes, I said on a beach. Yeah, he’s in Vegas.
3. endless entertainment– Las Vegas has so many things to do. There are comedy shows, aquariums, rainforests, amusement parks, helicopter tours, bus tours and much more.
I absolutely recommend Las Vegas as a wedding destination.
