Are you a video extremist? So are you one of the people who would join me in line early in the morning, in the mist and haze of fog, praying for the video rental store to open? Ah, I get you, it’s like a craving for hot chocolate on a cold and foggy day! We’re always adamant about keeping up with the latest new video releases, so we always make sure we have a copy of the new video release guide they give away at the video store counter, so we can highlight , circle and cross out the ones we owe. see (next attraction), the ones that we have already seen, and the ones that we consider, unfortunately, as belonging to the category of must-sees.

This impulse to make lists of upcoming attractions arose because I used to be ensconced in my duties as an English teacher at a community school and therefore had to wait until the end of the semester to see almost anything, let alone anticipate the ”coming soon” and ”next attraction”. So when the ratings were finally up, I would then go to the video rental store (before the days of DVDs) and rent a bunch of movies, games, sports, and run over to satisfy the need for entertainment.

Although I am freed from the commitments of working outside the home, it is more unfortunate that I find myself overwhelmed with more work than I previously had. Therefore, the list of new video releases has grown more than I would like, such that my favorite actors have made numerous movies yet to be seen. Most of which I have no idea. This is really hard, especially on Academy Awards week when my friends and I used to dress up, make proper meals for dinner, bid, yell and yell.
