Everyone has had some kind of fantasy of some beautiful billionaire falling into your lap (literally) and then seeing you on the covers of magazines with him on top of you. Then he shows up at your door with a ring to save his reputation and then you walk away with this conflict of “I would never do that! Marriage is about love and I’m going to divorce him in a year.” or “Shut up on the other side! This is one hell of a ride!” but then he falls in love with you and takes you… Ha ha yeah right!
But it’s fun to get lost in a good book playing with such fantasy. With these next three novels you can do just that.
Cross My Heart~ by Carly Phillips
Recently… three years actually, I received this book as a gift from Harlequin. Like the snowflake that I can sometimes be, I pushed it away and forgot about it. I have two children, a cat, a husband and a house to take care of, I am lucky to know what day is half the time. Anyway, once I found it, opened it and started reading, I was completely blown away by this novel. This wonderful story went unnoticed for years and is now one of my favorites!
A poor girl entitled to a large inheritance, but her uncle is more than willing to take it from her. This story is captivating from the first chapter. She faking her own death with the help of her first love, her willing to leave everything behind, even the only boy she could trust.
But when she is forced to return home and reclaim everything she left behind; the money, her name… what she didn’t expect was that her childhood sweetheart would claim her. When, This was a really sweet story that made you feel good about the overall result. You even feel bad for the bad boy. Good read, pick it up if you find it.

The Boss’s Christmas Seduction~ by Yvonne Lindsay
I stumbled across this book in a small bookstore near my house and I almost didn’t get it. I’m glad I did, because this was a really good rags-to-riches story. Published in 2006, this story is about a girl who was raised by nuns, although she tries her best to have a normal life and do something for herself. And while she didn’t have time for a sexy as hell millionaire, he found time for her. Nine months later, she too would have to make time for a little one.
The Billionaire’s Marriage Bargain ~ by Leanne Banks
This was a wonderful story, but a Greek billionaire made a deal to marry a woman to get out of the scandal. He seemed like the right thing to do, until he realizes what he’s gotten himself into. Falling in love wasn’t part of the plan… It was amazing how he turned the game around. As you read this story, you find yourself wishing this fantasy was yours.
