Las Vegas Room Budget:

Everyone making room reservations, whether it’s the first time or the 10th time, must have a budget for the selected hotel or casino. Make sure you don’t go over budget when booking rooms in Las Vegas so that you won’t be able to attend places (clubs, shows, buffets, etc.) that you previously planned to attend. Don’t consider yourself unable to afford a room at a good hotel/casino. A Las Vegas motel can cost anywhere from $50 a night to $100 or more a night. Whereas, I’ve booked nice clean rooms at several hotels/casinos on the strip for less than that.

Save money on room reservations:

How can you save money on room reservations? You can save money by booking your room a month or two in advance. This is the same as any other event. The sooner you book, the more you’ll save Time is everything with room reservations on the Las Vegas Strip. You won’t save money by making room reservations a week before you go to Las Vegas. Looking for deals online can also save you money. If you are already a member of any “rewards” programs at any casino, please log into your online account and check availability using that rewards member ID. If you don’t want to create an account online, you can simply call the casino directly. You’d be surprised at the difference in price between not being a member and not being a member. member! Even if you don’t play and have a reward card, call anyway. Rewards cardholders almost always get a better discount. On another note: if you are calling the Casino of your choice directly, try shooting the person on the phone who has the power to lower your rates or even make up your rooms.

Choosing the right hotel and casino:

First of all, off-strip motels and hotels are just places I don’t recommend staying unless you have no choice (there is almost always an alternative). I’ve stayed in many of these off-strip motels/hotels in the past and it was an experience I don’t want to go back to.

Motels cost about the same at the end of your Vegas trip. The amount of money you can spend on all those taxi drivers gets ridiculous after a while. If you drove yourself, the fuel and headache of navigating through all the traffic just aren’t worth it. The difference can be from $10 to $20 for a normal room with 2 beds.

Off-strip hotels almost always do not contain casino gaming or multiple restaurants, if any. This can become a very inconvenient stay for you in a short period of time. You’re in Vegas to relax, and chances are you want to be pampered as much as possible. The only places that can really do this are the major casinos located on the Las Vegas Strip.

You want to make sure you choose a casino that is within your budget. Make sure you know what kind of people (young, old, very old, LOUD) are going to be staying there. For example, if you like young and beautiful people, stay at the Palms. If you like old people who seem to like the game, stay at Harrahs. If you like people of all ages who just enjoy sightseeing and shopping, I recommend Caesars Palace. This can make a big difference to the casino you plan to stay at. Everyone is there to be happy and enjoy themselves, not to get bored and depressed in a certain way.
