When I started blogging I wasn’t even thinking about monetizing my website yet, I wanted to blog for 6 months and build traffic, backlinks and everything, then apply for Google AdSense or so I thought. Just 2 months after blogging, I had over 40 original articles and 40 comments, you could say I was doing well for a WordPress beginner, by then I wasn’t ready to apply for Google AdSense yet. i thought of myself “It’s still too early, I don’t want to rush things and get my heart broken.” But a friend made a suggestion to me, advising me to apply to Google AdSense, I told him that I had heard but didn’t really work on the advice he gave me, but it was always in the back of my mind.

A few days later, on August 24, 2015, I applied for Google AdSense. I was still hesitant, I honestly thought my application would be denied and I would have to go back to him crying and telling him I was not approved. About 4 days later, my mind was already starting to forget that I even applied for Google AdSense, then I received an email. The content of that email changed my view of blogging in general. It was as if he saw the light! I was approved on August 28, 2015.

This was amazing news for me, with this approval I achieved the first step of monetizing your website. Do you want to know how and why I was approved?

Why was I approved by Google AdSense?

  • I always wrote original articles, all my posts have original content.
  • Had over 40 original articles written by me
  • I had more than 40 real comments.
  • I have a paid theme, very distinguished.
  • I used SEO to target keywords
  • Had good traffic for a WordPress beginner
  • I got involved in Intensive Social Media Marketing
  • I had enough backlinks to link to my site
  • Post links to reputable sources
  • I did not steal the content of the website, I fled from copyright infringement
  • For compensation, my domain name was more than 6 months old

I hope this has been helpful to those in the fair share of Blogging and want to get approved by Google AdSense. It’s very possible, just follow the guides I posted because those were the reasons I got approved in 2 months.
