Air Supply Tours Asia and Europe – Stops to include Japan, China, Ireland, UK, and Italy

On September 6, Air Supply began its intense two-month international tour program by returning to South Africa after a 23-year absence. Air Supply performed in Cape Town and Johannesburg and by all accounts had great shows. After a mere two-day break at their home in the US, they once again flew to Ohio for a private presentation and then headed to the St. George Theater in Staten Island, New York, for a show on September 15.

This week, Airheads will find Air Supply in Winnipeg, Manitoba and Orillia, Ontario, Canada, for four shows combined. Tickets can still be purchased through Ticketmaster.

Next week, Air Supply and the crew will rest for a few days, but will leave for Fayetteville, North Carolina and Petosky, MI on September 28 and 29, respectively. On October 3, Air Supply will perform at the Tulsa State Fair in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The concert is free for customers who pay the $ 8.00 entrance to the fair, with discounts for seniors, military personnel, and children. Talk about a Blue Ribbon winner! When was the last time you saw Air Supply for that price?

After the Tulsa State Fair, the gang is on a plane heading to the desert to the southwest with a stop in Arizona. Harrah’s Casino, 35 miles south of Phoenix, brings Air Supply to Maricopa for two shows at 7:00 and 9:00 pm. This is a special night for everyone, as Air Supply is the first band to perform at this venue. Tickets are $ 35 and $ 45 and can only be purchased in person at the casino. With only 400 seats available for each show, it’s sure to sell out fast!

Air Supply hits the road early October 5, departing from Arizona and making the trip to Humphrey’s in San Diego, California for a 7:00 pm show. Nestled in a marina, Humphrey’s is a beautiful outdoor venue that boasts fresh ocean air and breathtaking stars overhead.

The last stop on this national leg of the tour is San Diego, and the next morning Air Supply takes off for Japan. With no time to rest, the band and team waste a day heading west for Asia. Japan welcomes Air Supply and the band performs two nights in Fukuoka, Japan with two shows on October 8 at 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. and two shows on October 9 at 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. . Air Supply then heads to Tokyo on the 11th and 12th performing every night at 6:30 and 9:30 pm and on the 13th at 6:00 and 9:00 pm.

Osaka, Japan hosts Air Supply on the 15th, 16th and 17th. Osaka fans also have the opportunity to see Air Supply twice a night with performances at 6:30 and 9:30 pm. Japan certainly fills up with Air Supply during this international tour as the band plays for a total of 16 shows in a span of 10 days! Tickets can be purchased by calling Japan for the following locations: Fukuoka: 092-715-6666, Tokyo: 03-3405-1133 and Osaka: 06-6342-7722, or by visiting http://www.billboard-live.com /.

Air Supply takes a much-needed break and relaxes in Macau, China, for a huge day before its two-night run at the Sands Macau. Air Supply shows up for this place of more than 600 people at 9:00 pm on October 19 and 20. Tickets have just gone on sale and can be purchased online at [https://www.venetianmacaotickets.com/VCLTicketing/event.do], in person at the Sands Macao and Venetian ticket offices, or by calling Sands in China at +853.2882.8818. Hopefully not a typo, Sands ad says Air Supply will sing all of their hits, including Love and Other Bruises. Hopefully someone will let us know if that special song makes it to the Macau song list.

Air Supply fondly says goodbye to Asia and racks up more frequent flyer miles as they head to Ireland and England for shows in Castlebar and Dublin, Ireland and Blackpool, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, Salford and Barnsley, UK.

Air Supply performs on October 24 at the Royal A Theater in Castlebar at 8:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased online at http://www.worldticketshop.com/ (Castlebar). On October 25, Dublin hosts Air Supply on Vicar Street. Tickets for the 8:00 pm performance are available through Ticketmaster.

Air Supply crosses the little pond and heads to the UK for 4 shows in the same number of nights. On October 26, Air Supply performs at 8:00 pm at the Opera House in Blackpool, UK. On October 27, the band can be found at The Journal Tyne Theater in Newcastle Upon Tyne and on Sunday, October 28, Air Supply performs in Salford for an 8:00 pm show at the Lowry. Tickets for this performance can be purchased by calling the Lowry box office on 0870 787 5780. Air Supply completes its UK tour with its final stop at the Metrodome Arena in Barnsley at 7:30 pm on October 29. Tickets can be purchased by phone at +01 226 730098 or online.

As Russell Hitchcock says in almost every presentation, “It’s not over yet!” and Air Supply has two more shows to complete this two-month international tour. On Tuesday, October 28, Air Supply arrives in Milan, Italy, for two presentations at the Blue Note in Milan. It’s good that shows start late in Milan and hopefully Air Supply will have had a few minutes to catch their breath before the 9:00 and 11:30 pm shows! Tickets for these performances can be purchased through the Blue Note online, at its box office or by phone at +39 026 901 6888.

Air Supply is said to be holding an additional show in Germany at the end of this tour, but the venue has yet to be announced.

Air Supply will return to the United States for a brief period to rest, but will soon be heading to the East Coast to attend shows in Kentucky, Pennsylvania and Michigan. Air Supply pianist Jed Moss will not be present in these three venues as he will go to Montevideo, Uruguay, to perform with the Montevideo Philharmonic Orchestra.

Also, yet to be announced, Air Supply is rumored to be celebrating the New Year with a performance in Korea. If they fly back to the US on the 1st, does that mean they will be able to celebrate the New Year in the US as well?

Best wishes for a safe trip for the band and the team. Have fun and we look forward to hearing stories from the road!
