Pretty much everyone loves silly strings and pretty much everyone likes to use a can or ten when it comes to parties, pranks, and wars. Although it is one of the most popular and widely used party supplies, it can also become an instant mess and a hassle to clean up. Sure it’s fun while it’s happening, but when it’s time to clean up and the guests go home, you have to spend hours removing silly strings from carpet, upholstery, and other hard-to-clean areas.

Silly string will dissolve simply by wetting it, eliminating long, boring cleanup after entertainment.
Places to avoid its use: Most areas are safe and fun enough to use a dummy rope, but there are a few precautions that can prevent unwanted masses, injuries, or other problems. Keep in mind that if you’re going to use the brightly colored things in a public place, like a park, you’ll need to make sure that place allows you to use the rope. Some parks ban any type of party confetti and any other small particles that might be left behind, and this can of fun might be on your list. So be sure to check with the owner or caretaker before bringing it in. Never spray towards or directly on the face. Although silly thread is generally safe, it can cause harm if sprayed directly on any part of the face. Last but not least, avoid areas where vehicles may be present. Dumb string has been known to wash off the surface of some car body paints.
