Free domain names?

When choosing a domain name, there are many things to think about. Do I need a dot com or is a dot net address okay? Do I go with a paid domain or do I settle for a free one? Whether or not you pay for a domain name is ultimately up to you. However, it is important to know that you do not have to pay for a domain name, if it is not necessary for your situation. Some reasons to opt for a free domain name:

– You are only forwarding a URL, so the name is easier to remember
– Does not plan to sell the site in the future
– You don’t need large amounts of storage or email addresses
– You don’t know if you’re ready to spend money on your site

Even if you have a free domain name, you can easily use the site for AdWords, for example. You can put the site on your business card or link to other sites. What you cannot do is use the link for spam or illegal content. In such a case, the free domain will be closed. The options are endless, though limited, if that’s not what you’re looking to do. If you pay for your domain name, you can run your own domain name system (DNS) and can generate subdomains. The most important thing is that you will have all the license rights to the domain.

Having a domain name does not include the creation of your page, only its name. Domain names also do not always provide web hosting. Do proper research before spending money on domains, web hosting, or website building, so you don’t overpay for such services.
